Big Agua Press.

The term “Big Agua” was coined by a two-year-old boy who had only those two words to describe the immense scale of the ocean. To us, it describes a world of possibilities. Here, we believe anything can happen if you just create it. That’s what we do with our children’s books. Our primary goal is to foster imagination and a love for reading in kids that will last a lifetime.

Founder Anna Lamson

Anna Lamson grew up in Hawaii and now lives in Los Angeles, California with her husband and 2 kids.  She studied advertising and creative writing at Pepperdine University and has since built a successful career in Advertising.  She loves doing what she does, but has always had an itch to write children’s books. Her first book, “Gramps & Me in the Galaxy” was first written when she was a college student. She knew it was a great story, but didn’t know how to bring it into the world. It wasn’t until her husband asked her – “Don’t you want your kids and their friends to grow up reading your books?” With her answer being a resounding “YES,” she went ahead and launched Big Agua Press.
