“Big Agua” was what my son called the ocean when he was two. It was his way of describing something huge and full of possibility, and it captured exactly how I see storytelling.
At Big Agua Press, that sense of wonder sits at the heart of everything we do. Our mission is to create books that spark imagination and help kids fall in love with reading for life.
Founder and Author Anna Lamson
Anna Lamson is an author, marketer, and mom of three based in Redondo Beach. She grew up in Hawaii loving books that sparked curiosity and joy, and she founded Big Agua Press to bring that feeling back to kids today.
Alongside running her own marketing agency, Anna creates stories that make reading fun again, celebrate belonging, and help families connect through books that stick long after storytime.
